Removing Gallstones Naturally... Without Surgery

There is an article that is currently circulating all over the Internet, regarding a natural way of removing gall stones. However, there are still many people who are unaware about this super-convenient method (I call it as such because it was proven surgery-free), that is why I will be more than happy to share this information again to all of you.

Lai Chiu Nan is a Taiwanese doctor who holds a chemistry doctorate degree, and is a former cancer researcher in one of America's top cancer research institutions, yet she (yes, she's actually a woman) is currently teaching natural health and alternative medicine.

In 1990, Dr. Lai visited Singapore to conduct several lectures about natural health, in both Chinese and English, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang. The lectures were a massive success, drawing huge capacity crowds of people who wish to learn alternative medicine from her.

One of those people who attended is Richard Seah, a Singaporean photographer, writer and editor who formerly worked under The Business Times Singapore as a feature writer and journalist from 1980 to 1989. He is also the sole author of a now-defunct newsletter on natural health called "The Good Life" from 1989 to 1996.

It was in this newsletter that the now-famous gall stone removal method of Dr. Lai came from, after his attendance from her lectures in Kallang. According to Seah, "I have since seen excerpts of that article reproduced in all sorts of places, including pamphlets at health stores, websites and blogs."

Dr. Lai claims this method has been worked for many people, and encourages anyone to pass on the information if it worked for them as well. She is not charging anyone for it, because she wants this information to be accessed freely by everyone as much as possible. She believes that whenever someone, through word of mouth (even through the power of the Internet and social media), benefits from this information is enough reward not only for her, but to any person who passed this on to others.

Gall stones may not be everyone's concern, but they should be because we all have them. Even if someone has undergone gall bladder surgery, he or she may still have a chance in producing gall stones.

In addition, gall stones may lead to cancer. As Dr. Lai points out, "Cancer is never the first illness. Usually, there are a lot of other problems leading to cancer. In my research in China, I came across some materials which say that people with cancer usually have gall stones. We all have gall stones. It's a matter of big or small, many or few.

"One of the symptoms of gall stones is a feeling of bloatedness after a heavy meal," Dr. Lai added. "You feel like you can't digest the food. If it gets more serious, you feel pain in the liver area."

So if someone thinks he/she may have gall stones, Dr. Lai had produced this now-famous method to remove them naturally. According to her, the treatment is also good for those with a weak liver, as the liver and gall bladder are closely linked.

Disclaimer

However, Richard Seah had pointed out in his article about the potential dangers of this method, as some doctors state that if the gallstones are too big, they might end up being stuck in the gall bladder ducts and this could be dangerous.

Theoretically, Seah said, this might happen. That is why he encouraged anyone not to do this method should they are afraid or hesitant to do so. Any person must take full responsibility for his/her own health before attempting it, and must understand first the reasons behind some of the procedures. Seah is not held liable if the person might experience any harm or danger after doing this method. This also goes to Dr. Lai, myself, or any other person or website who shared this method to you in any form of media.

This Method Does Not Work For Anyone

Seah also stated in his article that there are no guarantees that this method will work for anybody. According to him, he and his friends had tried the method, yet one or two of his friends were unsuccessful in flushing the stones out. Accordingly, he received several e-mails from his readers stating that nothing had happened.

Furthermore, he also found out from other people that although they successfully underwent the method, further ultrasound scans show that not all stones were flushed out. As a result, some people were skeptical, even going too far by claiming the method was fake. Though Seah had considered that opinion, he still did not think so, because there are still people who felt better after doing it.

The Method

1. According to Dr. Lai, for the first five days, you must either drink 4 glasses of apple juice, or eat 4-5 apples if you do not have a juicer or blender at home. But you should drink or eat them as normal, as if including it on your diet. Apples help soften the gall stones.

2. On the sixth day, you must not take dinner, even if it is only a soup, but it is fine to drink water or other light fluids in the evening. You should still take breakfast and lunch as usual, though.

3. At 6:00 pm, you must take a teaspoon of Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) with a glass of warm water.

4. Repeat Step 3 two hours later (8:00 pm). By doing so, the gall bladder ducts will open due to the magnesium sulfate.

5. Another two hours later (10:00 pm), you must combine half a cup of olive oil (or sesame oil) with half a cup of fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink. This will lubricate the stones to ease their passage out. At this stage, Seah points out the possible side effect of this method, as the mixture may cause instant diarrhea. He experienced this when he first tried it, though he does not have any idea if other people had experienced the same. Nevertheless, he suggests that you must be near the toilet just in case, and must do this method at home.

6. At this point, you can now sleep or at least lie down and rest. However, refrain from engaging in any physical activity.

7. The next morning, you will find green stones in your stool. These are the gall stones.

"Usually they float," Dr. Lai notes. "You might want to count them. I have had people who passes 40, 50 or up to 100 stones. Very many."

Even if you do not have any symptoms of gall stones, you still might have some, so it is best to have a gall bladder clean-up every now and then.
