Ms. Universe Too Biased?

Moments ago Janine Tugonon fell short of becoming Miss Universe when she awarded First Runner-Up. Miss USA, Olivia Culpo, got the crown.

WAIT. Miss Universe was held in Las Vegas, right? DO YOU THINK IT WAS BIASED???

My sister watched the pageant moments ago. When Culpo got the crown, she said:

"Yung totoo? Porket sa USA ginanap ang Ms. Universe, Ms. USA na agad ang Ms. Universe!????????? Ansabeeeeee? Ang layo ng sagot sa tanong ahhhh! Sabagay first time kasi ng usa makapasok sa top5, sinamantala lang ang pagkakataon..."

I also had a bad feeling that this pageant was manipulated for the glory of America. These manipulations were not new in beauty pageants, especially in local, or what we call inter-barangay, pageants, whether guys, girls or gays were the participants. Judges themselves sometimes are in favor of the contestant they were rooting for, so they adjust the points gradually to gain the advantage. These "Lutong Macau," which is the term for that, is one of the main reasons why I don't watch beauty pageants anymore.

Besides, We already have two Miss Universe winners. And we also have 4 Miss International winners. We must focus more on Miss World as we do not have someone from our country who won that title. WHAT DO YOU THINK ARE THE QUALITIES WE MUST HAVE IN ORDER TO WIN MISS WORLD???

Anyways, Janine fought a good fight, so congratulations to her. BUT IT WOULD BE BETTER IF SHE WON THE CROWN.
